ORIGINAL 1992 STOCK COPY!

Mick Valenti is the mastermind behind the band Quick Fox. Their song "Indian" was featured on Brown Acid - The Nineteenth Trip. Mick also happens to be the genius that created "ZAZAS"! This cassette-only release from 1992 blends mellow Exotica-esque instrumentals with heavy metal riffage like no other recording ever before or since. Have we mentioned that these recordings were commissioned by a Satanic Cult?

Here's the story behind this tape straight from the source (Mick Valenti):

"A friend of mine, Raven Burke, asked me to write some Ritual music for his "Coven Of The Path Of The Left", group. He offered me a fair price to do it & I agreed. He selected the titles "Invocation To Satan", "Gospel Of The Beast" & "Salantra" while "Bast", "Owl & Wolf" & "ZAZAS" are my titles. Raven had an Occult Emporium called "Chameleon" & he sold the "ZAZAS" tapes there. They were a hit & sold very well. One Summer, Rob Halford (of Judas Priest fame) & his new band were playing in the area, along with King Diamond & his band. They all stopped into the Chameleon & all of them bought copies of "ZAZAS". Soon afterward Raven received a letter from Rob Halford praising "ZAZAS" as the "greatest Occult album that he ever heard!" Raven passed this info on to me! The Music can be used by anyone for any chosen reason...Ritual, Meditation, Relaxation, etc. There are no lyrics...just pleasant Music. A Musical & Artistic Creation to be enjoyed by all who choose to make it a creative part of their lifestyle.

"ZAZAS" was also for sale in a Canadian Led Zeppelin fanzine called "Electric Magic" They promoted it with this text...and I quote..."Mick Valenti has released a new album entitled ZAZAS. He was commissioned by The Coven Of The Path Of The Left...a cult...to score a musical soundtrack for their ritual purposes. Featured on the cover is the famous drawing of Satan by Eliphas Levi. It's his own "Lucifer Rising" similar to what Jimmy Page did for the movie in 1976. I'd like to thank Mick for his dedication of his new album to "Aleister Crowley & Electric Magic".
